Fast and simple

LessChart is an iPhone application that makes creation of flowcharts fast and simple. The following features enables you to create a simple flowchart in fraction of the time required on traditional flowcharting software:

• Text to chart
• Automatic connectors
• Automatic sizing of the shapes

Text to Chart

LessChart's 'text to chart' function allows you to create charts from text. Shapes would be determined by the text you've entered initially when creating the chart.

Automatic Connectors 

LessChart utilizes a distance based algorithm to decide how the shapes and connectors should connect. Details can be found here.

What LessChart is not

LessChart is not a do-it-all full fledge charting application. It's aim is to provide you with the most simple and efficient way of solely creating flowcharts that works on the iPhone. There are other alternative applications that allows you to create more than one type of charts on the iPhone, namely iDiagram and instaviz (All great programs for producing many forms of charts). However if you are looking for specifically fast and simple flowchart creation then LessChart might be the one for you.

Export format?

Currently LessChart exports to JPG and SVG file format. JPG is a widely support image format. SVG is an open standard file format and have several application support, which includes Inkscape, Adobe SVG viewer, web browsers supporting SVG.
